ShopAgain is really taking “omnichannel marketing automation on auto-pilot” to a whole new level. Not only are they automatically analyzing your database, creating segments, and personalizing product carousels based on user behavior… They are pulling in your theme components and will automatically build your most common flows and sequences with your colors and your brand, including the email content, and the timing of those emails! They are so good you can even instantly approve their AI built campaigns, but probably most brands are going to look in the email sequences and make some minor copy changes and what not.

They have automatic split-testing that creates alternative copy, headlines, discount amount, and time of delivery, which you can approve or auto-approve for testing, and they’ll automatically switch over to the best converting result. These results are perfect for you to glean insights into broader messaging strategies and even product strategies for growing your business.

After they auto-generate segments, you can easily send them to Facebook and Google ad audiences for on-channel segmentation. This also means your email/SMS team should be coordinating these efforts with your media buyer/agency, to further maximize results.

At the advanced plan and higher you have an automatic email validation tool which makes sure you never send emails to bouncing email addresses - thus keeping your list clean and deliverability strong.

They have a smart send feature for their emails so that you hit send, and it waits to deliver to each customer based on their most likely time to open.

And for SMS, they automatically detect the time zone and only send before 10PM and after 6AM, so don’t worry about that. (SMS timing is significantly less important because most people always check their SMSs, but you don’t want to be sending messages at 2 AM!.)

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Who has to manage ShopAgain and how long does it take to setup?

Typically your marketing team is going to run your CRM. Whether it’s the head of marketing, VP, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), email marketing specialist, etc., is going to depend on the size of the organization.

Getting setup can take a little bit of time. 

First you may want to bring over campaigns from your previous email provider. 

Second, you need to setup your brand and logos, which shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. 

Third, you need to let their platform ingest your data and start making predictions and campaigns for you. This can take between a few minutes, up to 48 hours, depending on how much data you have (ie. how many customers, orders, SKUs, and how long you’ve been in business, etc.).

From there, someone on the marketing team, typically an email marketing specialist, will need to approve campaigns, adjust campaigns, create and add custom creatives, offers, incentives, etc., and monitor the results, help get the AI split testing, and continually check in for insights and improvements.

ShopAgain can be for stores of any size, but will be stronger for established brands with at least $1mm revenue who have good data from their store to bring into the ShopAgain AI and get analyzed.

Because of the robustness of the platform, you should expect to change off your email service provider, SMS provider, pop-up tool, and personalization provider.
