What is PromoPrep?

Tired of using a spreadsheet to track and manage all of your marketing campaigns? PromoPrep is a flexible Ecommerce and marketing calendar tool that helps you better organize and track marketing campaigns, events, and other time-based activities like ad campaigns, influencer campaigns, social campaigns, product drops, promos and sales, etc.

You can create marketing campaigns, tasks, or events, tag them with their appropriate type, take notes on the activity, upload files, and chat on each campaign's status.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

What makes PromoPrep different than competitors?

Spreadsheets are no way to run a growing department. Tools like Basecamp, Asana, Slack, and Trello are great project management and collaboration platforms but are not specific to your marketing campaigns. They have an annual overlay functionality so that you can look at campaigns from last year at the same time to understand what campaigns you may want to run this year.

PromoPrep is specifically for your head of marketing or marketing manager. This will become the backbone to their daily work, and any team members underneath them that maybe need to build creative, write copy, or prepare product launches. 

Your marketing manager will be in here daily adjusting content and using this as a guide for their daily workflow, as will anyone who reports to them. This tool literally requires ongoing effort to ensure that it’s providing value, meaning if your team doesn’t adopt and use this tool regularly, it will have very little standalone value.

Is PromoPrep right for my store?

PromoPrep is especially great for merchants that have high seasonality or publish multiple different products or product lines regularly. Especially great for merchants who have frequent sales and promotions. And especially great for those juggling a ton of campaigns at any given time.

Solo founders may find this tool useful, but typically it will be best for a small team to coordinate around.

If you sell one or a few consistent products and don’t do any special sales or promotions, you probably don’t need this tool.
