Fast Simon is a robust personalization and search platform that helps high-SKU, high-volume merchants sell more products, sell the right products, and visually merchandise their catalog.
This tool offers control over personalization with look-back periods that are perfect for highly seasonal brands, the ability to upsell complimentary products, products that “complete the look” or direct alternatives. There’s also a one-click upsell widget using AI and the ability to merchandise unpublished products in preparation for sales or product drops.
You can also enable a “search abandonment” campaign through Klaviyo, enabling personalized recommendations via email that have huge click-through and conversion rates, because the person did search for that product after all.
Fast Simon can be plug and play, or you can add your own custom CSS and make it as custom as you’d like. They give you a free sandbox license so that your team can continue to tinker or make design changes as you need to, to then push live once ready. (You should always roll out Fast Simon in a test environment - or with their preview panes - before going live.)
You can create user access controls allowing marketing, operations, and merchandising various access rights.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Fast Simon is very robust and flexible so that you can do any sort of customized merchandising that you want.
Most of their competition may only have one tool in Fast Simon’s tool chest. By having so many conversion oriented tools in one place, they make themselves a market leader on conversion rate optimization.
They’ve also designed a self-service app that is quick to deploy and can accelerate growth with integrations through Klaviyo, Facebook, SMS tools and more.

It can take a little while to set up the tool. On the low-end, you can get it done in 2 hours, on the high end it can take several months. It varies depending on your store, the number of SKUs, level of detail, etc.
If you’ve got under 50 products in your lineup, you probably don’t need Fast Simon, unless your customers are really searching quite a lot.
