Churn Buster helps you keep your subscribed customers. Involuntary churn can account for up to 50% of your overall churn. It happens when credit cards expire, customers move, and there are other payment related issues. Churn Buster prevents this churn by sending out well-timed emails and SMS’s to help get the customer to complete the information needed to keep the transactions coming through, and keep them a subscribed customer.
Right now, if you’re on ReCharge, you don’t have the information on how your transactional emails are being delivered and opened. When you switch to Churn Buster, you gain access to that information and can see problems that may be emerging from sending/receiving emails and find ways to improve the process.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Churn Buster is heavily focused on solving involuntary churn for Ecommerce merchants.
The number one reason people start using Churn Buster is because they want to adjust the cadence and frequency of their dunning emails - dunning emails are transactional oriented emails that are requesting the user adjust their payment information, perhaps because their credit card recently expired, or they changed billing addresses.
And they actually can automatically fall back from email to SMS to really improve conversion rate. Any responses from the SMS are monitored by their team and only the highly relevant ones make it through to your customer service team.
The number one metric you care about is your involuntary churn rate, and Churn Buster is going to decrease this significantly. Thus decreasing overall churn, keeping subscribers, and increasing lifetime value and revenue.
You simply install Churn Buster, uncheck the send failed payment email button in Recharge and let Churn Buster take over. Setup your email sequence with cadence and frequency, and you’re off and running.
Right at the beginning, you don’t need to worry about implementing an involuntary churn tool, it's not going to be a huge problem. But as you scale, it quickly becomes great to save a handful of subscribers, and then a dozen, and of course this scales as the subscribership grows. At around 250 subscribers in total, you’re going to get enough benefit from the tool to warrant using it.
