What is Smartrr?

If you’re selling direct to customer, you know how important their ongoing experience with your brand is. Creating an ongoing relationship via subscriptions and memberships is a great way to secure reliable recurring revenue, and Smartrr is on hand to make the process easy and effective.

Built on Shopify Subscription API, Smartrr runs subtly in the background, never appearing on a URL or necessitating a separate checkout. All of their solutions work right out of the box, and they have an implementation and migration team to ensure you can get set up and running with ease, with the ultimate goal of ensuring you don’t have to hire a dev to get subscriptions working for you. In terms of payments, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal Express are all supported.

Smartrr specializes in providing a customer dashboard for subscription products. Meaning that your customers are more empowered and able to self manage their memberships by choosing products or amending their subscriptions. Brands are reporting a 70% decrease in customer service inquiries because of how helpful the user portals are.

One particularly nice feature is the ability for customers to easily gift their subscription to a friend (which then initiates a drip sequence to convert them into a recurring customer.) This is very effective when it comes to increasing referrals while decreasing churn, a huge win!

Customers can also easily swap a subscription instead of canceling one subscription to start another (which sometimes leads to semi-involuntary churn.)

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Typically, onboarding takes about two weeks for new brands. Migrating may take up to a month (this is currently the case because there’s a waitlist – it may be shorter to migrate over in the future.) If you are thinking of migrating, you can rest assured that this does not cause any loss in subscriptions.

Is Smartrr right for my store?

Smartrr is a good fit for existing subscription-based brands that might want to migrate to a more robust solution on the customer portal and experience side.
